• First elementary in the district and one of a few in state where every teacher used laptop and video projectors to deliver curriculum (Two district board presentations modeling curricular initiatives featured Hidalgo teachers, and we were visited by approximately 40+ schools wanting to see our technology and math programs.)

• First elementary to train all 4-6 grade students in Office, Appleworks, and other computer applications

• Developed a language initiative for Hidalgo parents (learned English using Rosetta Stone’s famous language software)  

• Trained hundreds of teachers in technology integration at both the district and state level, presenting at many local and state conferences
